We’re excited to invite you to a groundbreaking ceremony for the new theatre on campus, Thursday, April 16, at 4:30 p.m. on site adjacent to the Bell Tower. Be a part of marking this exciting milestone for the arts at UMW as we celebrate the future academic home of UMW Theatre – a space that will inspire creativity, learning, and performance for generations to come.
We’ll gather at Jefferson Square and convene at the top of the hill near the Bell Tower (rain location, Dodd Auditorium). Remarks and the ceremonial groundbreaking will begin at 4:45 p.m. and will be followed by light refreshments.
