Six Eagles were named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) Academic All-State Team, while the men’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming, and men’s and women’s tennis programs all received national academic honors from their respective organizations. In addition, 10 members of the women’s lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll.
National champion men’s basketball also earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, with senior Jadon Burgess named to the NABC Honors Court. Men’s lacrosse goalie Ryan D’Angelo was selected to the USILA Division III Scholar All-America Team, while the team also received academic honors.
On the international stage, head field hockey coach Jamie Tierney and assistant coach Lindsey Heppner are representing the United States at the World Masters Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands.
In addition, women’s tennis standouts Addison Felts and Natalie Kim earned VaSID All-State First Team honors in doubles, with Felts also receiving first-team singles recognition. Head Coach Todd Helbling was named VaSID Coach of the Year, and Asher Willenborg was selected as the VaSID Player of the Year.
