Please note: The deadline for submitting A/P performance evaluations has been extended to November 15. Supervisors of A/P employees with incomplete evaluations – please check the status of your employees’ evaluations and proceed through the final steps of the process.
We will be launching the 2023 – 2024 Classified Performance Management Program on Tuesday, October 15th. This program will focus on completing the 2023 – 2024 evaluations.
Once the 2023 – 2024 program launches, you will have 3 weeks to update job descriptions in PageUp to reflect accurate job duties for the 2024 – 2025 performance cycle. For assistance updating job descriptions please contact Debbie Burton at dburton@umw.edu.
We will launch the 2024-2025 Classified Performance Management Program on November 5, 2024. You will complete the first 3 steps in this program and will receive an email when it is time to complete the 2024 – 2025 mid-year check in.

When the system launches, you will receive an email message prompting you to login and complete the first step. The email will come from jobs@umw.edu.
Emails will be sent following each completed step to alert the next person in the process they have a task due.

System Access:
The PageUp Performance Management system is a separate URL from the PageUp Recruitment system. You will use your UMW credentials to login.
Performance Cycle
Classified Staff: October 25th – October 24th of the following year.
Evaluation Due Dates:
Classified Staff – 2023-2024 | 12/31/2024 |
Classified Staff – 2024-2025 | 12/31/2025 |
Evaluations for the 2023-2024 performance cycle will be completed in the 2023-2024 Performance Program. Goals for the upcoming year will be entered in the 2024-2025 Program.

Supervisor and Employee Meet | Review Job Duties and agree on Goals for the upcoming year. Supervisor will confirm this meeting took place in the Next Step tab in the system. If you need to make changes to the Position Description, you must do this in the Position Description Module. Job Duties changed in the Performance Management module will not be saved. |

Employee Completes Self-Assessment | Employee will add comments to the Goals, Job Duties and Performance Factor Tabs in the system. At a minimum, Employee must click on the Next Step button on the Next Step tab to acknowledge they had the option to complete a Self-Assessment. |

Supervisor Completes Evaluation | Supervisor will rate and add comments to the Goals, Job Duties and Performance Factor Tabs in the system. Supervisor will complete this step by clicking on the Approve button on the Next Step tab in the system. |

Reviewer Approves Evaluation | Reviewer (next level manager) will review the ratings and comments in the Goals, Job Duties and Performance Factor Tabs and add comments where they feel appropriate. Reviewer will complete this step by clicking on the Approve button on the Next Step tab in the system. |

Supervisor and Employee Meet to Review Evaluation | Supervisor and Employee will meet to discuss the completed evaluation. Supervisor will confirm this meeting took place by clicking on the approve button in the Next Step tab in the system. Employees will not see their review in the system until this step is complete |
