On Tuesday, Oct. 22, retired entrepreneur and College of Business Advisory Board member Sameer Shalaby will hold an “Entrepreneurship Interest Session” for students in Lee Hall, Room 412 from 7-10 p.m. Shalaby is eager to help UMW students develop the next big concept at the University of Mary Washington. He is the founder of Cogency Software and Paladyne Systems.
Beginning Oct. 28, he will be in the Simpson Library’s ThinkLab for the I-Center, which will take place each Monday from 3-5 p.m. The I-Center encourages ideas, innovation and incubation. It will provide students with a place to share their business ideas while gathering helpful feedback.
