Annual COAR Pumpkin Palooza Sunday
COAR will be hosting its annual fall event, Pumpkin Palooza, on Sunday, Oct. 28. It will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. throughout campus, and there will be crafts, games, and trick-or-treating for families from the Fredericksburg community.
We are in need of volunteers to help with set up, craft tables, games, guiding trick-or-treat tours, and clean up after the event. If you are interested, you can register using the following link on myUMW: https://orgsync.com/59896/events/2380322/occurrences/5671942
Additionally, UMW clubs and teams are invited to host trick-or-treat tables as a part of the event. If you are interested in hosting a table, you will be responsible for purchasing decorations and decorating the table, and for having representatives from your group be at the table for the entirety of the event.
COAR will provide enough candy for 2 pieces per child, but you are welcome to purchase more candy if your group would like to give away additional pieces. The link for groups to sign up is: https://orgsync.com/59896/forms/339319
We highly encourage students to dress up in costume, but we ask that costumes and decorations are appropriate for families with young children.
