Learn how to incorporate Mindfulness into your everyday eating habits. This workshop will: Introduce the topic of mindful eating, ways of reducing emotional eating, and how to take pleasure in the food that is nourishing you!
Mindfulness and the Brain

Presenter: Dr. Christopher Lillis
Mindfulness and meditation are practices that have been a part of human society for centuries, but only in the last few decades have we begun to understand the science of mindfulness. Mindfulness has a direct impact on our physiology and neural plasticity that is measurable with modern day medical science. We continue to learn about the benefits of mindfulness in clinical outcomes, with a wide variety of beneficial health effects. This talk will explore the science of meditation and the brain.

Monday, Feb. 24, Lee Hall 412, 10 a.m.
Just 10 minutes each day can make a difference in your health. Come get practical tips to maximize the time you have to lower stress, reduce clutter, and improve your health. Everyone who attends will receive an incentive.
