Please join University of Mary Washington’s Community Outreach and Resources (COAR) for their annual fall event, Pumpkin Palooza! This event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29. from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Ball Circle. Faculty and staff are invited to bring their children to take part in the event. Activities will include crafts, games, and trick-or-treating on campus. We encourage everyone to come in their best costumes! Adult supervision is required and the event is weather permitting. Good Neighbor Day 2017
COAR will be hosting UMW’s Annual Good Neighbor Day on March 25, 2017, from 9 a.m. until noon. Student volunteers will be completing service projects at homes and businesses within the Fredericksburg community. Service projects include landscaping, yardwork and painting. Faculty/staff who live in the College Heights or College Terrace communities are encouraged to sign up their homes as sites where student volunteers will complete projects. 7th Annual COAR Variety Show
COAR will be having its 7th Annual Variety Show on Feb. 17, 2017, at 7 p.m. Come on out for a night of exciting performances and raffle prizes! Tickets for entry and raffle tickets are $1 each. All proceeds go toward UMW’s Alternative Spring Break program, which works in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity. You don’t want to miss out!
