The Fredericksburg campus was bustling on Wednesday, August 18, as freshmen and transfer students moved into their residence halls, including Eagle Landing.  UMW welcomes more than 1,200 new students, 969 freshmen and 237 transfer students. For the second consecutive year, 21 percent of the freshmen identified themselves as African-American, Asian, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, or multi-racial.   Mary Washington looks forward to an exciting year, with a total of 5,200 students enrolled, 1,200 on the Stafford campus.
