Mary Wash Day is Almost Here—Join Us!
In just two weeks, the Mary Washington community will come together for 24 hours of impact. From noon on March 25 to noon on March 26, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students will unite for our 9th annual #MaryWashDay.
Together, we’re aiming high: 2,500 total gifts, 400 first-time donors, and 1,200 alumni donors—all in one day. With more than $600,000 in challenges and matching funds waiting to be unlocked, every gift can go even further.

Become a #MaryWashDay Ambassador
Help spread the word, share why you love Mary Washington, and encourage your networks to join you. Ambassadors may qualify to win an insulated multipurpose UMW bag or even a weekend stay at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center’s Kalnen Inn. Sign up to learn more and start sharing!
Join Us at Mary Wash Day HQ
Stop by Mary Wash Day Headquarters on the CRUC Patio from 12–3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. Enjoy photo ops, see and add to the thank you and impact wall, and cheer on a special performance by UMW’s Pep Band as we celebrate all things Mary Washington.
Pie It Forward (Faculty & Staff Volunteers Needed!)
From 12:30–1:30 p.m., faculty and staff can volunteer to get pied—all for a great cause. Anyone who makes a gift of $5 or more earns the chance to pie a volunteer in the face, in the true spirit of #TogetherUMW. Willing to take one for the team? Email Cadi at ctrevino@umw.edu to sign up.
Happy Hour & Bingo
Wrap up the day with Happy Hour and Bingo from 6–8 p.m. in the Chandler Ballroom (CRUC). Connect with Fredericksburg-area alumni and celebrate together as we watch the Mary Wash Day totals climb.
