Dr. Herbert Lee Cover II, 94, professor emeritus at the University of Mary Washington, passed away peacefully at his Fredericksburg home on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016.
Dr. Cover was a native of Elkton, Va. He earned a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Virginia, and then moved to Fredericksburg in 1949 where he taught at the University of Mary Washington for 35 years.
