The University of Mary Washington Galleries will host the exhibit "Beyond the Silk Road: Asian Art from the Permanent Collection" from Friday, March 11 through Friday, April 22 at the Ridderhof Martin Gallery.
A few openings remain for the first Alumni College on the Road. Register today to take part in this educational adventure from June 28 through July 8, 2011. Journey with UMW Associate Professor Andrew S. Dolby to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, and participate in the optional extension to Peru. There are always new and exciting things happening at Gari Melchers Home and Studio.
The time has come for our Spring museum trip. This season we are delighted to announce a weekday excursion to Richmond, Virginia to visit the newly renovated Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The VMFA is currently hosting Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris. Our April 13 trip will include admission to this stunning exhibition.
