Leah Cox, assistant dean and director of the James Farmer Scholars program, describes highlights of the program in an article in Fredericksburg Parents magazine. The University of Mary Washington Foundation cordially invites faculty and staff to a special open house for Eagle Village. Please bring your UMW I.D. card for entrance on Tuesday, August 17, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. The tours begin at the mixed use building, across from Country Cookin’ where you can see the UMW Foundation office suite and the sites for the new business tenants. Following that tour, you can proceed to Eagle Landing for tours of the common areas, representative student apartments, and a walk across the new pedestrian bridge linking UMW to Eagle Landing.
