Dr. Patricia Reynolds has been named to the International Advisory Board for EDULEARN14. It is designed to discuss the latest developments in the field of teaching and learning methodologies, educational projects and innovations and new technologies applied to education and research. The EDULEARN14 Advisory Board has been created as a consultant body with the specific aim of getting new ideas and proposals in international education. It is composed of selected professors and researchers from all continents around the world.
Reynolds to Present at International Conference
Dr. Patricia Reynolds’ paper “Differentiate to Make A Difference: The Culturally Responsive 21st Century Classroom Environment” has been accepted for presentation by the International Conference on Education Research and Innovation in Seville, Spain this coming November 2013. The paper will also be published in the peer-reviewed Proceedings from the conference. This conference is hosted to bring together international educators working on language policy and programs in the European Union.
Reynolds Named to Fulbright Reviewing Committee
The Institute of International Education (IIE) annually conducts scholarship competitions for U.S. graduate students wishing to pursue study, research or professional training abroad under the Fulbright-Hays Program sponsored by the United States Department of State and for other awards offered by foreign governments, universities and private donors. To assist in the selection of candidates, the Institute convenes a National Screening Committee comprised of area specialists and authorities in various fields to review applications and nominate candidates to the award sponsors. Dr. Patricia Reynolds, Assistant Professor in the College of Education, has been selected to work this year on the National Screening Committee for English Language Teaching Assistants for Western Europe.
