Help Support an FSEM and Local Animal Rescue!

UMW student Jarrod tables at the Cedric Rucker University Center. Are you interested in supporting a group of FSEM students and/or Squishy Face Crew, a fostered based animal rescue in Fredericksburg, VA? Students in Jennifer Cirbus’s FSEM “Our Everyday Lives: Interactions Between Human and Animals” are hosting an Angel Tree on campus for faculty, staff, and students to make a donation. Students are volunteering with SFC in order to fulfill their class required community service hours and decided on helping this rescue with donations.

Interested in contributing to the cause? You can find the Angel Tree housed in the Center for Community Engagement, located on the 3rd floor of the CRUC. Additionally, the students will be tabling Monday-Friday, Noon -2 PM on the 2nd floor of the CRUC. Stop by to select an ornament for the cat or dog pictured (that has some donation ideas written on the back) and drop off the donation by Friday, December 2nd.

Donations can be dropped off during the Monday-Friday tabling times in the CRUC or at the Academic Services window in Lee Hall during the 8:00-5:00 PM operation hours.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Cirbus at jcirbus@umw.edu.
