Campus Dining invites you to join with us and the UMW Athletic Department in supporting Sodexo’s annual STOP Hunger Food Drive. We will be collecting non-perishable foods for donation to the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank through Friday, Nov. 14. Collection bins are located in all dining facilities and will soon be available in the Simpson Library, UMW Bookstore, and other campus locations. You might want to gather canned goods in your offices or departments over the next couple of weeks, and then drop them off during our curb-side collection event between 2 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 14. You will be able to drive up and drop off your donations on College Avenue right in front of Seacobeck Hall near the FRED bus stop. All donations not only help feed the hungry in our community, but will also count toward helping our Athletic Department win the conference food drive competition. For more information please call Heather Hosey or Rose Benedict at 540-654-2169, or e-mail us at dining@umw.edu.
