As a token of appreciation, we invite you to join us at the Cedric Rucker University Center Chandler Ballroom on November 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for our annual Veterans Day Luncheon. This event is open to spouses and dependents, so please feel free to bring your family. Please send your RSVP to Ryan Hastings at rhasting@umw.edu to ensure an accurate headcount for seating and catering by Friday, November 7.

Flag Raising Ceremony
The Mountain View H.S. Marine JROTC Color Team will post the Colors at the flag pole in front of George Washington Hall at 7:30 AM.
Followed by a luncheon in Cedric Rucker University Center – Chandler Ballroom
As a thank you to all of our UMW Students who are serving or have served, we cordially invite our UMW Active-duty students, Student Veterans, Veteran Dependents, and anyone with a military affiliation to come and celebrate Veterans Day with us in the Chandler Ballroom on Monday, November 11, from 11:30 to 1:00.
The University of Mary Washington, a member school of the Virginia Advisory Council on Military Education, co-hosts the Military Resource Expo on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center (2371 Carl D. Silver Pkwy., Fredericksburg, VA 22401).
Information on careers, education (including UMW’s Bachelor of Liberal Studies program), scholarships and more will be available at this event for military and veteran students.
