Due to risks associated with lithium ion batteries causing fires when charging or using hover boards, the University of Mary Washington prohibits hover boards on campus. This includes Campus Walk and all University buildings – residence halls, academic and athletic buildings, and the University Center. Thank you for your cooperation.
