Come join UMW Campus Recreation for a five-week introduction course in mindfulness and meditation!
Dates: Tuesdays, March 11 – April 8

Guided Mindfulness Meditation Practice

Take a pause from your busy routine — give yourself the gift of silence. This Mindfulness @ UMW activity will help you touch your natural ability to meditate. You will receive instruction on the nature of meditation and how to practice, be lead through a guided meditation, and have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your experience meditating. This event is suitable for beginning and experienced meditators.
Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Course

This 5‐week introductory course will answer the basic question: What are we doing when we meditate? You will learn about mindfulness meditation through instruction, discussion and guided practice. Specific training will be provided on obstacles to meditation and how to work with them. Upon completion of this series, you will have the tools and experience needed to continue an independent practice of mindfulness meditation. Preregistration required.

Group Fitness Updates
After previous cancellations, the Wake-up Zumba class was resumed this week. We hope to see you next Wednesday at 7 am. Bring water and a friend!

$25 IM Forfeit Fees are payable to the IM Sports Forfeit Fee Drop Box in the Fitness Center by cash or check.
