Director of Landscape and Grounds Holly Chichester-Morby was featured by Northern Virginia Magazine in an article titled, “Meet the Goats Taking Over The University of Mary Washington’s Campus.” In the piece, Chichester-Morby said “The goats eat [English ivy] like candy. In addition, Chichester-Morby was featured by the FXBG Advance in an article titled, “Through ‘Roots to Renewal,’ Trees Removed from UMW Theater Site Will be Returned to Campus.” According to the piece, instead of going into the landfill or being ground up as mulch, many of the trees that were taken down for construction of the new University of Mary Washington theater will return to campus as either furniture or funding. Chichester-Morby said there will be opportunities for local woodworkers and university students to make something out of the reclaimed wood. Read more in the FXBG Advance.
