Nina Mikhalvesky Discusses Women in STEM

Mikhalevsky, Nina06Nina Mikhalevsky, professor of philosophy, gave a presentation on the “Current Status of Women in STEM” at the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) in Quantico on Thursday, March 14. The presentation was part of the Women’s History Month program “Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.”

Nina Mikhalevsky Gave Keynote Speech at Dahlgren

Nina Mikhalevsky, professor of philosophy, was the keynote speaker for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division’s Women’s History Month observance on Wednesday, March 28. Her presentation focused on the history of women’s education and the current status of women’s education today, particularly in math, science and engineering.
