Dear Faculty and Staff,
As you may know, the technology that runs EagleNet has reached end-of-life and will be decommissioned this summer. This presented an opportunity to replace the aging Eaglenet application with a more useful, comprehensive faculty and staff website. The original source material, the content of EagleNet, was expanded and enhanced by feedback from the Web Advisory Council and the President’s Technology Advisory Council. The resulting site can now be seen at http://www.umw.edu/in/.
Primary features include:
• Easy access to Banner, IT, and web support, purchasing, HR, and more.
• Deep linking into site areas relevant to academic operations.
• Recent announcements and professional notes.
• Feedback form to suggest changes and enhancements to this employee resource.
In addition, this site is now 1-click available from anywhere on the UMW website via our new audience-based navigation, found on the remodeled search bar.
The old Eaglenet application will remain available until July 31, allowing time for departments to change their websites and other documentation to refer to the new faculty/staff website.
Changes are also coming to Banner. An upgrade will be made to Banner to provide a more menu-driven, graphical user interface. The improved interface will provide easier navigation and will better reflect the actual content of Banner.
We hope you’ll find this to be a helpful tool, and we welcome feedback on your experience and needs as the site evolves.

As another academic year comes to a close, Parking Management in partnership with Residence Life is preparing for the student move-out process. This week, Monday April 27 through Saturday May 2, there will be parking reservations campus-wide to assist with this process. Please pay attention to signage daily, as we have many events/activities taking place, and there may be some changes made to accommodate everyone.
