It’s the season of Thanksgiving!  What better time to think about what you’re grateful for?  Expressing gratitude can boost your mood and help increase your happiness.  When you’re feeling happy, you’re more likely to make better choices about your health, which can lead to weight loss.

Weight Watchers Open House, Oct. 1

Don’t miss UMW’s own Weight Watchers@Work Open House from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, in the ITCC, Room 111.  Weight Watchers’ representatives will be on hand to show you how you can lose weight without sacrificing your favorite foods.

The Commonwealth of Virginia offers Weight Watchers at special pricing to state employees. Those eligible for the health benefits program also may be reimbursed for half the cost of services, once they have completed program requirements.
