Help! We’re in competition with 20 other Virginia towns and cities to get the Virginia is for Lovers LOVE display in Fredericksburg in September. If we win, the six-foot high LOVE display will come to Fredericksburg’s Riverfront Park and be part of the Via Colori Festival.

As of today, the portion of Campus Drive from Monroe Hall to Woodard Campus Center that had been closed for road repairs during the summer is now open to all vehicular traffic. Please contact Gary Hobson at 654-1292 should you have any questions.
It is with sadness that the University notifies you of the death Saturday of Mark Bareford, 2008 alumnus of the Bachelor of Liberal Studies program. He died of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. Mark, 47, was a science teacher at Walker-Grant Middle School.
Mark earned a Purple Heart in 1987 for his service in the Navy.
